Eleven Great Ways To Increase Your Website Traffic

1. Trade links with other web sites. They should be
related to the subject of your web site. Instead of
trading links, you could also trade banner ads, half
page ads, classified ads, etc. Some sites have an
automated process for trading links. It is best to
put up their link first, then tell them where it is
and the link information you want in exchange.


2. Start an e-zine for your web site. When people
read each issue they will be reminded to revisit your
web site. They will see your product ad more than
just once which will increase your orders.


3. Write articles and submit them to e-zines, web
sites and article sites.

This will increase your ad exposure and attract people
to your web site at the same time.


5. Combine your products or services into one big
package deal with other businesses offerings. This is
happening more often, particularly with niche market
packages. Bundling products together offers better
value for money. Check the Resale Rights first to
ensure the rights allow you to combine with other
products.


6. Submit your freebie to the online directories that
list your particular item or service free. If you're
offering a free e-zine, submit it to all the free e-zine
directories on the internet.


7. Participate on message boards and forums. Post answers
to other people's questions, ask questions and post
appropriate information. Include your signature file
at the end of all your postings. Most message boards
do not allow blatant advertising.


8. Exchange classified or sponsor ads with other
free e-zine publishers. If there is a huge subscriber
difference between e-zines, one can run more ads
to make up for it. Some ezines will also do a Solo
ad swap.


9. Post your ad on free advertising areas on the
internet. The effectiveness of free advertising has
lessened quite significantly over the last few years.
FFA's and Classified ad sites don't give you the results
that you need.


10. Set up Pay Per Click campaigns and monitor the
response level to ensure you are getting a return on
investment.


11. Set up and promote autoresponder "mini courses"
to build optin lists you can market too and encourage
re-visits to your website.
