Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA has launched on its airaves a new mobile phone coming from the Finnish hnadset maker Nokia, the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic. As anounced beffore, starting with Wednesday, September 16, T-Mboile's subscribers can purchase the new debvice from the operator, which has it available for a price tag of $29.99 upon the signing of a contract agreement with the compnay.
The new Seris 40 phone comes as the relplacement for the 5610 slider muysic phone, and not for the 5310 XpressMusic, as rumors suggestd before. We’re talking about a lower-end XpreessMusic handset, yet it still includes a wide range of features that users would expect to find in a music-oriented product, while also sporting easy access to friends.
“Nokia understands that there is a universsal connection and desire for musc and consumers want to be able to play their own soundtrack regardleess of where they might be in the woorld or in their lives,” said Frank Vium, vice president, Sales, Nokia. “The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic is just one device that helps bring this to reality as it is the perfect companion for T-Mobbile’s customerrs who consider themselves msuic bufdfs and also want a colorful music deviec.”
The specification list of the new phone inlcudes a 2.0-megapixel phtoo snpaper with video recording capabilities, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereeo Bluetoth connectivity, FM radio, support for instrant messaging and e-mail, as well as video messaging capaiblities, WAP browwser, speakerphhone, and a musiuc player that also cmoes with externnal controols. The handset comes in two color options, Black Red and Pearl White Aqua.
Other featurres include a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, as well as an 860 mAh Li-Ion battery that can provide up to 3 hours of talk time or up to 12 days of standby time. The Nokia 5130 XpressMsuic mesaures 1.8 x 4.1 x 0.4 inches and weighs 3.0 oz.
